Praise the praiseworthy

As a student of HR I got to know more about human emotions, about how they actually get motivated and why the performance appraisal is a key driver in their growth. Not focusing more on technical HR terms we should move to a more general aspect with which anyone can relate. Let's start with an artist , an artist when performs or showcase his/her art he expects feedback from someone, not getting a feedback feels like none has seen you performing. What if you always come up with something new and innovative ? What if you can improvise or you can rehearse in  a day ? What if you are always ready to perform? You think that these characteristics makes you the unique one but that is not actually true. If you come up with your own real shits, preparing in a day, ever ready to give your best than you are making your own value equals to zero. Your easy going personality, your non complaining behaviour and even your non demanding gestures that you think makes you humble are actually the traits that will lead you to the dark valleys where you will be the only one performing and you will be the only one watching.

Let us ask and let us stand for our value, that our talent is not inbuilt but it takes years of hardwork to do what you are actually doing , our talents are not for granted , talents deserve respect, credits, appraisal and money in return. 

People get appraisal and certificates for their small actions and efforts but some people who really put a lot of effort in thinking and doing something different are taken for granted, might be because they have never shown anyone their hardwork behind their performance. Each and every individual doing even a small effort deserves recognition and praise. 

I faced this many times but your patience is what stops you to create your own value 

Today when everyone was recognised and praised , an artist sitting in audience was just giving applause to others the most terrific scene I have ever seen. People makes you realise you are not worthy enough and than come to you to make a presence for entertaining audience . They don't know they are killing an artist by not looking at the efforts that has been done for a few minutes performance. Efforts that has been done in order to achieve the prizes at different competitions.

I gave my whole life to be what I am today. Always coming up with my own creations , my own efforts but not getting praised because that's how I positioned myself in their eyes a valueless and effortless performer.
